2024 Jeju Grand March for Life and Peace

From Gangjeong to Jeju, past Seongsan Mountain!

The March for Life and Peace, which began in 2012 with the Gangjeong Life and Peace March and continued with the Jeju Life and Peace March in 2016, is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. Starting from Gangjeong Village, where U.S. warships are often in and out of the area, increasing military tensions in Northeast Asia, the marchers will pass by Seongsan, the proposed site of the second airport, which is being pushed forward despite concerns about overdevelopment, environmental destruction, and opposition from local residents.
