Last Saturday (June 8), we held a solidarity yard with a walk around the candidate sites in hopes of canceling the second airport. Many people came to the yard and showed their solidarity.

An event was held to walk around the planned site of the second airport, starting from Daesusubong Peak. From the top of Daesusubong Peak, you can see Ilchulbong and Udo, as well as the proposed airport site, surrounding oreum, and Hallasan Mountain. Yesterday, a large horse-dung bird was flying in the sky and the song of the island warbler could be heard.

The general election is over. The people have clearly sentenced the politics of disunity, self-righteousness, and incompetence. The second airport is a strange and unnecessary plan, and the MOLIT is pushing it through, ignoring and turning a blind eye to the will of the people.
